Out of the Tunnel + What Is American + Trajectories

PQ joins composer Danielle Eva Schwob, and director-artist James Mountford (BANKS, Ciara, Chance the Rapper) join forces to present a special multimedia performance and double bill of works from the musicians’ respective new albums Out of the Tunnel and What Is American, featuring visuals and new paintings from Mountford’s Trajectories series.

This will be the official west coast premiere Roscoe Mitchell’s string quartet, 11-11-2020.

Woven together through awe-inspiring, cinematic imagery, the performance is an ambitious exploration of roots and identity-in-motion, looking inwards, outwards, backwards, and forwards.
