The Robert Mann String Quartet Institute

We are thrilled to have been accepted as one of six string quartets to participate in the Robert Mann String Quartet Institute next year. There PUBLIQuartet will be participating in private coachings and masterclasses with Nicholas Mann, David Geber, Clive Greensmith, and members of the American String Quartet. PQ will be preparing the Brahms String Quartet No. 3 and the Mozart String Quartet No. 23, K. 590. They will be performing these works on January 6, 2012 at the Manhattan School of Music.

The Deer Valley Music Festival
Emerging Quartets and Composers Program

PUBLIQuartet is very much looking forward to the opportunity to participate in the Deer Valley Festival this summer! There PQ will be working closely with the members of the Muir Quartet and composer, Joan Tower while preparing a classical and a contemporary repertoire as well as performing works for string quartet composed by Tower's proteges.
The Juilliard String Quartet Seminar

We have had the wonderful honor of being one in eight string quartets selected to partake in the 2011 Juilliard String Quartet Seminar. There PUBLIQuartet will be participating in private coachings and masterclasses with the members of the Juilliard String Quartet. PQ will be preparing the Haydn "Sunrise" String Quartet and the Webern String Quartet, Op. 5. They will be performing these works at a concert on May 20, 2011 at the Juilliard School.
