PUBLIQuartet presents music of acclaimed NYC composers Marc Mellits, Eric Lemmon, Angelica Negron and their very own Amanda Gookin and Nick Revel. Highlighting several compositions for electronics and string quartet, this program bridges the gap between the vastly contrasting voices of living NYC composers, connecting their apparent differences with fluid group improvisation. Joining PUBLIQuartet for this concert is critically acclaimed contemporary duo, Flutronix, featuring the music of contemporary NYC composers for two flutes, electronics, and mixed media.
